Master Classes and Informances - Starting Oct. 27th

Master Dance Classes with Sulley Imoro from Ghana, W. Africa:

Wednesday 6:30p October 27th and Friday 6:00p October 29th 2010

Sat 2:30p October 30 (stay for Informance immediately after)

$15 per class (no extra cost to currently enrolled students)

2 INFORMANCES THIS FALL:

Saturday, October 30 5pm Harvest Celebration with W. African dancer/drummer Imorro Sulley. Coming all the way from Ghana, Mr.

Sulley will lecture on African culture and present his native songs and dances. He will offer classes to our Students at the PG Institute during the week before, and present our students in a lecture/demonstration.

FREE-WILL DONATION


Saturday, November 20 5pm Thanksgiving Celebration with Flamenco dancer/choreographer Maria Leach.
Ms. Leach will lecture On Spanish culture and present dances in lamenco, and present our students in Mexican Rumba, Castanet rchestra and Pasa Doble.

Joining the Ancestors

The grandfather of dear friend and student, Tamara Warren, passed away over the weekend.

Funeral arrangements for Holocaust survivor Frank Kussy are as follows:
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima, 13500 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park.

Kussy and his wife set up a scholarship at Michigan State University. Donations to the Frank and Adelaide Kussy Memorial Scholarship for the Study of the Holocaust can be sent by check to University Advancement, Michigan State University, 300 Spartan Way, East Lansing, MI 48824-1005. Credit card donations can be made through givingto.msu.edu/gift, keyword "Kussy."
